The Venue
The wedding will take place at the Ferradura Private Hotel in Buzios, Rio de Janiero. It is around 3 hours outside of Rio de Janeiro city centre by car/coach. If you prefer to not to arrange transportation, we will be organising a coach service to take people from a pick-up point in the city centre on the 15th. There will be a fee involved to take the coach, but you will not need to go through the hassle of booking.
Please reach out to John and Olivia with your arrival date and time in Rio if you want to book a place in the shuttle.
Alternatively , you can get a bus from Rio de Janeiro to Buzios in Rio bus station ( rodoviária).
A cerimônia e celebração do casamento serão realizadas no Hotel Ferradura Private, em Búzios.
Estamos organizando um mini-ônibus para os convidados saindo do Rio para Búzios na quinta dia 15.09 e/ou na sexta 16.09, dependendo da demanda . Entre em contato com o John ou a Olivia com a sua data e horário de chegada no Rio, caso tenha interesse .
Buzios
Hotel Ferradura Private
This is the main hotel where we will host the wedding, ceremony and the bride and groom will be staying. It is a small hotel with 15 rooms, so guests will be mainly close family and friends.
We still have a few rooms available in the main hotel. Please reach out to John and Olivia directly if you want to stay here.

You can research for cheaper options in Booking.com or AirBnB . Look for accommodation in the Ferradura Beach if you want to stay close to the wedding venue, see some recommendation below.

What to do in Brazil
Brazil is comprised of 27 states and it is huge! (as an example, all the countries of the EU could fit inside Brazil`s border twice over).

Fine Details
Skyscanner is always a safe bet, but we will be using Norwegian Air as they have direct flights from London to Rio for good prices (starting from £460 including 1 checked bag). It might be worth taking a short flight from Dublin to London and then going direct to Rio.

Yes, there will be plenty of vegetarian options, don’t worry!
If you hold a European passport, you will be given a 3 month tourist visa upon arrival. Though you need to have at least 6 months left on your passport as well.
